Your crew drops the car. The lollipop turns green. Is that gap big enough?
Release from your pit box into the traffic streaming down the pit lane, then dodge your way down the track. Every 20 seconds it's back to the box for another stop and another release. Get it wrong and the stewards have a name for it.
- Race: pick a track and survive the traffic. Lantern Bay at night, Scofti Park in the sun, the old walls of Fortress Bay, or the hairpins of Palm Ring.
- PR Run: no traffic, no pit stops. Top speed climbs to 450 km/h, the tracks join end to end, and barricades block the lanes. One crash and it's over.
- Time Trial: pick your car and paint it, then laps of Palm Ring against the clock, with oil, boost pads and a chickadee who likes to land on the track.
- Full team radio between the driver and the engineer.
- One thumb: swipe or tap to change lanes. No ads, no accounts, no data collected.
How it’s built
3D without a 3D engine
The road is drawn the way classic arcade racers did it: short segments projected through a camera, 110 of them ahead of you, with fog that thickens with distance. It's built on Phaser 4, which keeps it light on any phone.
A mirror that tells the truth
The rear-view mirror is drawn live from the cars actually behind you, so judging the gap is the game, not a guess.
Drawn in code
Rival cars, the pit lane and the scenery are drawn by the game itself rather than loaded as pictures. The road asks for the same colours hundreds of times a frame, so they're worked out once and kept.
Built for a small download
Team radio voiced with ElevenLabs, a song for each track, and audio re-encoded to keep the app small.
Store app and web game
The Android app is packed with Capacitor and plays offline. The web version has a service worker so it does too.
